leases, operates and provides consulting services to golf courses
 in New England. We aim to be the premier golf course management company
in the area, providing private country club-like conditions and a high
level of customer satisfaction. These are the cornerstones of
Sterling Golf's philosophy.
As SGM’s President, Kevin F. Osgood has over thirty years of
experience in golf course operations. He is Past-President of, and
holds a position on the Board of Directors of the New England Golf
Course Owner's Association. Kevin is also Past-President of the Golf
Course Superintendents Association of New England and has been on the
MGA Board of Directors, as well as the Francis Ouimet Scholarship
Fund.
Sterling Golf Management is very proud of their well-deserved
reputation for providing sound management practices and
beautifully-conditioned golf courses. The company manages Newton
Commonwealth Golf Course, Norwood Country Club, Chelmsford Country
Club and The Shattuck Golf Club in Jaffrey, New Hampshire,
as well as providing the maintenance operation for the Sassamon Trace Golf Course in Natick, MA and Fore
Kicks Golf Club in Norfolk, MA.
The Shattuck Golf Club
is a championship golf course carved out of the foothills of Mount
Monadnock in the Southern New Hampshire town of Jaffrey. The
Shattuck is renowned for being one of the most visually stunning golf courses
ever built, combining spectacular views and wildlife with a magnificent layout.
The clubhouse has an excellent line of pro shop merchandise, and food and
beverages are available in the Mountain View Grille, which is the perfect
setting for any small gathering, rehearsal dinner, or bridal shower. The
Shattuck’s breathtaking views are sure to add to the ambience of a wedding or
any special event. Our beautifully renovated Cathedral Ballroom and Veranda are
available for large functions and outings, and our Stone Terrace makes a
fabulous outdoor setting for ceremonies and photo opportunities. Many
options are available at the Shattuck, and both our Wedding/Function Coordinator
and Executive Chef will work with our customers to make sure their
event is unforgettable.
The managers of Sterling Golf Management are highly qualified with
strong backgrounds in Pro Shop management, grounds maintenance and
food service. Emphasis is placed on catering to the needs of the
golfer through friendly and courteous professionalism. All of our Golf
Professionals are members of the PGA of America and all of our
Superintendents are members of the Golf Course Superintendents
Association of America.
Every facility under our management is closely supervised to ensure
complete customer satisfaction, whether it's in the Pro Shop, on the
golf course or in the function hall. Each of our on-site managers has
been highly trained, and our course superintendents have the proper
education from accredited institutions to assist them in maintaining
the grounds up to our very high standards.
As we continue to enhance our reputation in the golf course industry,
we are making strides to become second to none in golf course
